About us - Running together helps!
Laufschuhhelden e.V. - a community of athletes who do good with every kilometer they run. Our mission is simple: we turn sporting kilometers into donations for charitable causes.
What began as a personal motivation quickly became a movement: in 2021, Stefan Gerberich (aka @NaKleiner_Running) founded the running shoe heroes to motivate himself to run - and do good in the process. Like-minded people quickly came together and the idea grew into a Germany-wide community. We have been active as a non-profit association since 2023.
Whether running, hiking, walking or cycling - every kilometer counts! Our members put their heart and soul into supporting social projects month after month. Every year, we jointly choose three charitable organizations for which we collect donations with our kilometers.
To date, we have already raised over 70,000 euros - and the number is growing all the time!
